S&G: Taping Hull and Deck of Cirrus

The Cirrus hull and deck are built using epoxy putty on the inside of the panel seams over which is applied glass and epoxy. One of the main reasons for the putty is to round out the corners and allow the galss to lie flat.

When it comes to joining the hull and deck Vaclav goes straight to 2" glass tape, no mention of epoxy putty. It seems prudent that after bringing the two shells together to put putty on seam, then add tape. This will ensure the tape lies nice and flat.

Am I missing something?
