Skin-on-Frame: Yost 'Sea-Pups' coming together *Pic*

Well, finally! Pictures at last, and I want to thank Tom Yost yet again as he made putting up the pics very easy. The four Yost designed Sea-Pups are still not done, but they've been a great fathers and sons project so far. The frames were fully built in two days, and ready for skins after the third day. We're using the 18oz PVC, and it seems to be making a great skin. If you're considering using the PVC, bear in mind that it does not stretch or shrink, so it can't handle compound curves without either wrinkles or seams. We're doing the hulls in three pieces- one for the bottom, and another panel on each side. Pretty tedious, but on the one hull that's done, it looks great. More pics will follow as we complete the boats. These boats are 19" x 14'-8". Steve
