I have been thinking of building a kayak for some time now. I have never owned or used one before but have always loved woodworking and the water. It seems I would enjoy the process as much as the use. I am a big guy. I am 6' and about 220lbs. What would be a good Kayak to choose? I want to do a strip project from plans. Not a kit. I appreciate any imput you may give me. Thanks a million.
