Hi folks.
I am at the hatch stage on my woodstrip sea kayak and would like to keep the hatch cover as flush with the deck as I can.
I intend to install a plywood ring under the opening, which will project out 1", so that the cut-out will sit on it, thus staying flush.
How do I seal the hatch when it is finished?
