Strip: Sheer strip on 14' Great Auk Trouble

I just finished stripping the bottom of my hull and have flipped it over to strip the deck. The deck half of the sheer strip goes from horizontal at the stern to vertical at the cockpit and back to horizontal at the bow. Seems like a lot of bend for one strip.

Any suggestions?

Use Tuff Carve not Tuff Fill which is too hard. *NM*
