I'm doing the 16' Merganzer kayak and cut the hatches from the strip deck prior to attaching the deck to the hull. Once the hull was attached the hatch covers, which are already glassed, no longer conform to the bend in the deck. The bow hatch is significantly out of alignment.

My question is how do I get these glassed and epoxied hatch covers to bend into the shape of the hull?
