I used 11/16" wide strips for my Outer Island ... absolutely no problem what so ever ... builds fine ... looks fine. But ... before you start routing the C&B ... have a plan as to what kinda artistic design you want and as to where you wanna use C&B and where you don't. Take into account that sometimes our bright ideas don't work out so you'll want some strips without the C&B that you can rip into smaller widths, put a C or B on just one edge etc.
