Strip: epoxy sealer question

i am about to put the epoxy sealer coat (us composits) its 80 degrees and 4 pm.

no rain expected for a few days.

after it cures, at 8 am will have been about 14-16 hours in the mid 60's

will that be too long to avoid sanding? i have a few 3m green pads and wouild like to avoid sandpaper. if its hard to a fingernail, is the green pad enough or is a light 120 grit necessary?

i know i should wipe it down with a damp rag... should i use soap?

so it goes somthing like--- wet rag -- green pad -- wet rag -- dry -- then glass/epoxt coat.

ill check back in the AM to see your responces any ideas are appriciated thanks.
