Epoxy: The curse of Don Ho

This morning I checked (again!) the butt joints that I had put together with glass tape and epoxy yesterday. Maybe it was the morning sunlight's angle, but I saw some tiny bubbles on two of the taped joints that I had not seen yesterday.

Should I do anything about them?

Also, the instruction manual says to trim the excess tape using a utility knife. Is there any reason a Dremel tool would be a bad device for this purpose?
