Strip: Light Night, Heron that is.

I just ordered my Night Heron plans and am already day dreaming of deck and hull designs. In reading the info on Nick's site it said weight 38 pounds. I got excited since my Guillemot is around 52. Then I looked at the guillemot and it said 40 pounds. I guess my Guillemot is a bit overweight.

This leads to a question that has been discussed here before in different stages of the construction process, but I was wondering if we could start a list of "How to build it light." So if anyone has ideas or experience on building a stripper that is as light as possible yet durability, please reply to this post.

Thanks in advance
B
