Strip: Someone said I need a lot of clamps... *Pic*

I dunno, I may have overdone it.

Burned a vacation day today to rip about 1200 feet of strips. It took longer than I expected, but it went pretty good. Now I just gotta glue them together and I'll have a boat (hopefully).

The forms for the Guillemot "L" I am attempting are all set up - but not yet aligned. I also had to redo the small end forms - my Excel lofting experiment resulted in them being very angular. Fortunately, I found I could easily add new data points to the charts and then drag them around until the curve was fair. Excel is way cool! It's also the only Microsoft product I have any respect for.

I'm relocating the show to my basement this weekend where I'll have both more room and less cold than the garage. Also hope to find time to glue up a test panel so that I can see what the finished strips look like and make some decisions regarding deck design.

With a little luck, I'll be started on the hull at some point next week.
