:. I wanted the Lightning 17 because it has a
: high storage capacity yet is very fast on the water and tracks quite well
: while still remaining reasonably well maneuverable. I am currently using
: it to paddle across Canada on a trip that will take me almost 3500 kms,
: possibly over 7000 kms before it's over.

Hello Robert,
I read your forum, the one you mentioned you are currently paddling across Canada in your Water Dancing Lightning 17. My guess is your doing it in stages. Can you inform us more about your trips? I paddled in 1997 the Voyager’s section from Kenora to Winnipeg and I’m planning the Thunder Bay to Kenora next.
