Fiberglass pigments work fine. Typically they are polyester based, but that's OK. They function as nonreactives diluents in epoxy. You can go up to 2 oz. per gallon of mixed epoxy without compromising physical characteristics of the cured product, or up to 4 oz. without compromising them significantly.

One source with lots of stores is Tap Plastics, but any generic fiberglass pigment will work. Tap sells them in quantities as small as 1 oz., as in the pic below.

Inks and dyes will color the epoxy, but won't necessarily result in opacity. The pigments are loaded with titanium dioxide and can be opaque given sufficient concentration.
