Strip: Possible design to modify

Well, I've done some diggin and have come to the conclusion that there are no real resources out there for a strip built SOT. So I am trying to gather a little advise or opinion as to what stripper design would best be adapted to an SOT and what design elements are most important to change. I am looking at something closer to a Scupper Pro Classic in size and shape, but where to begin? I figured it would be easier to adapt an existing stripper. If there are others out there who have also been chewing on this for awhile here's a question: How to handle the foot and seat well? Been thinking about the possibility of creating a fiberglass tub molded much like you would a custom seat ( ala Ross Liedy if I recall among others) and opening the deck. I'm sure there are ways to strip a well and creating an open tub with bulkheads for and aft is an option, but I'm thinking functionalty & comfort and a fiberglass tub insert (if married to the wood properly) with proper support molded in would be intriguing and probably pretty attractive. And yes, I know that there is a S&G version on Nick's drawing board, but it's got to be a stripper. The S&G SOT is attractive and I'm sure functional but a stripper...ahh a thing of beauty (insert whistful gaze here.)
