The issue I am toying with is getting enough so that I can have more choice. The color of the strips will vary and with a dozen extra strips I should be able to blend them better. I have even thought of buying enough strips for two boats (since I plan on doing two anyway) and then sorting them.

And Newfound lists strips in the 6' to 10' lengths with extra cost for 12'. Though I do recall some mention that kits come with a few full length strips for Sheer strips.

Have you called Newfound? I am sure they would not mind answering a few questions. I plan on calling when I am closer to ready to start. I have some garage cleanup to do first. :-)
