I've read about this technique...female mould, right? Or is the term "plug"? Is that carbon fiber? Looks real sweet. I hope you have "wood trim" planned for gunnels and decks and seats and thwarts...not suggesting but definately hoping. Yeah, like John Monroe...keep the pictures coming on this one!

: Here is a pic of the cleaned up mould. We had quite a bit of trouble with the
: plug sticking to the mould, but a few hours of scraping cleaned it up. The
: parting line between the 2 halves is excellent. You should be able to see
: the faint line running the length of the canoe. There are some defects in
: the Gelcoat, but they are easily reworked.

: Next step is to build a ledge around the top, then proceed with rework and
: polishing.
