I'm with Jay; you can use mostly what you have around.

I used 3/4 plywood (it's what I had around) for the strongback. Then I found a sheet of OSB at Home Despot for around $8. I used that for my forms. It worked fine. BTW, I went stapleless - don't know how the OSB would hold staples.
