Pete, part of the reason for lack of clear response is that the data didn't exist. One of the things about the CLC boats keeline that I thought was by design was the transition from an even curve to a slight upsweep and leveling out near the ends. As it turns out skeg like leveling out is a consequence of the tension in the sheer clamps pushing the ends of the bottom panels down. Without recutting another prototype to take this consequenc into consideration it leaves you with more of a wave piercing bow than one might surmise by looking at a drawing on the computer. It doesn't have much negative consequences for the stern but unrecognized it does for the bow,,,ie. the NBxl weathercocking problems.
