More testing could reveal a very pleasant surprise in the form of reduced costs in future layups if other areas of laminate skin utility, such as abrasion resistance, are also met with similar results.

The material on core thickness strength is also informative. It backs up the concept of lighter boats having enough substance if the owner takes proper care in the uses of such a craft.
