Buy the book and you will enjoy it.

I now own 6 books on kayak and canoe building and have never felt bad about buying any one of them.

I just got "The New Kayak Shop" and for stitch + glue I believe it is the best.

For strip kayaks, Nick's book "The strip built Sea Kayak"and for strip canoes, Ted Moore's "Canoecraft".

But any that I have seen were good books.
