Unlike Mike, I had great results dealing with Freedman's outfit at skinboats.com. Response to my order was quick, help over the phone was enthusiastic, and the tutorial on his website was a work he could be proud of ... it sure helped me as a newbie to SOF skinning! At the risk of sounding like an ad, I have to say I'm really pleased with the performance of his nylon and polyurethane on my boat; I can't believe the strength of the finished skin, as it surpasses even good old elk rawhide that we used to use on snowshoe webbing.
