I use a program called SPAM VACCINE which converts the @ into an image and javascripts the link so that it still works as a clickable link. This is for web pages. It is very simple to use: just drop an entire website on the SpamVaccine window and the job is automatic and very quick. The theory is that it still looks like and email link, it is still clickable in a browdser, but the robots are unable to recognise it. It seems to work.
