I found a steel J roller that would be cost prohibitive, too, because the shop was from England.

I appreciate the feedback, and will check into the roofing tool.

We did some EPDM roofing seams and it came with a steel roller about
: 2"x2" wheel with ball bearing axle wooden handle, very nice
: tool, not cheap. I did put a brass plumbing tail piece on a roller frame
: once, not as nice but worked fine. The guys that do laminate work use a
: tool called a J roller for putting pressure laminate with contact cement,
: should work fine.
