: End pours how important are they, just to put on a a toggle for carrying? I
: know its good thing to tie your ends down when putting the kayak on the
: roof of a vehicle but I carry all my kayaks on a trailer, I just don't
: want to do an end pour but I will if everybody thinks it is needed, thank
: you for your kind words

I use a micro-baloon fillet in the ends where I am going to drill and then line my drilled holes with plastic (Usually something like a felt marker) roughed up and epoxied in. I never could see the sense in an end pour. How do you key the surface for the new epoxy? and why add the weight? And you just know it is going to be messy.

Of course, all this has to be done before the deck goes on. If the deck is already in place it is too late.
