: A question for more experienced builders-
: Would using a squeegee to apply the fill coats avoid this problem, or will
: the epoxy be too thin to use a squeegee on fill coats?
: m
I apply the first filler coat by just pouring on and spreading with a squeegee. Then the squeegee is used to remove excess epoxy. For the next coat I use a brush for application and no squeegeeing is done.
I tried using a roller once for the third coat and I also got orange peel occurring on a perfectly clean, no amine blush and non contaminated surface. I was applying it in a thin coat. That was my first and last attempt at using a roller. I am just not "roller friendly".
