Hi Et,
Yeah, I wondered that even though the rollers I used are new quality ones but not epoxy branded ones, both the foam & the mohair gave me similar results & I toss them after use. The mohair I'll wash & save for paint for other projects. I put on the extra epoxy coat to make sure that I had enough to sand without touching the glass again, there may have been an extra 150-200g at the most in that extra coat so I'm not too worried about the weight going on the hull. I figured I'd rather have too much than not enough when it came to sanding again, but in any case, there will definitely not be any more epoxy going on. I am now going to sand ready for varnishing 'cause I'm itching to get onto the deck.
I've certainly learnt some valuable lessons about knowing your epoxy.
