Well, here's another. I have to work in my driveway, so the strongback had to roll--and be light and stiff. I also made it tall: no bending over, and everything was always pretty close to my eye. An extension ladder section provided the base, and I just screwed plywood to it. Dead flat, very stiff, quite light.
