i didn't have polypro ( and nylon i had was way too weak for melted tabs) so:
- i just cut the slot where i wanted the strap inserted,
- rolled the nylon strap end into a 1/4" roll and saturated with CA glue.
- mushed polyurethane caulk around the slot under deck
- pulled the webstrap and 'roll' into the caulk.

i can't remember, but for places i couldn't reach, i mushed P/U on the roll and pulled the web thru carefully.
