I actually have two questions. This is my first Kayak build, its cedar strip.
I'd like to know how many layers of fibreglass fabric should I use for the hull and what thickness.
My second question is about Cedar. I live in Ontario Canada where the white cedar is plentiful...or at least more available, and red cedar is a little more expensive.
I like the look of the Red, but I am wondering about the benefits of using white besides cost wise. Thanks.
