: I did some searching on the forum regarding Titebond II and noticed that many
: people use it. I was given a (partial) gallon jug from a friend and
: intended to use it on the Auk I'm getting ready to strip.
: While scarfing up the sheer strips, I noticed that the glue dries with a
: strange orange color, not the more clear dry up of the other yellow wood
: glues I've used. Now I would swear I read somewhere that someone had
: coloring issues from it, but I can't put my finger on that page anymore.
: Has anyone had a problem with the dry color of this glue showing through on
: the finished boat?
: Thanks,
: Dave
That's what I've used, the color disapears under the glass.
Also you'll scrape/sand off the glue on the outside of the hull and the color is minimal between the strips.
