Hi Mike,

18 ga. wire is fine but it needs to be solid, not stranded.

: Hi everyone,

: The instruction manual did not come with my Night Heron, but I called CLC and
: they just sent one out. In the meantime, I just finished making the panels
: and am looking to keep working at a good clip. I'm wondering what the best
: wire to use is so that I can buy or order it as soon as possible. I've
: heard stovepipe wire works, are there any disadvantages to it? What length
: of wire is necessary for this boat, which is 18 ft, 20" wide, and
: only has four panels to be stitched since only the hull is S&G?

: Thanks,

: Mike
