My FIL is really pushing me to finish my Nieces boat that she has apparently lost interest in. Not real keen on finishing it for a couple of reason. Mainly I am not going to build her boat. I will help HER build it.
He is wanting to go paddling really bad. He is up in age but healthy and I would like to get him a boat to do some paddling in. I have been fascinated with SOF for a while. The light weight and the speed of construction are big pluses! So I habe been thinking, since I am so will pleased with my boat I am wondering why it wouldn't be pretty simple to just convert it (or most any S&G design) to a Yost Style SOF?
Before I jump into this I thought I would ask as I am sure other have done it. It looks fairly straight forward to me. But I have to wonder if I am missing something.
