: I am refinishing the top of my kayak, I had to sand the top completly down to
: bare wood. (damaged when the hatch cover popped off going down the road,
: it was tethered but caused a lot of dings & glass fractures. Anyways I
: still have enough4 0z. glass remaining to cover full length of boat, but
: the glass is about 6 years old. It has been on the original cardboard roll
: and wrapped in original paper. It looks great but I don't know if it will
: wet out good enough because of age? I heard something about sizing added
: to glass cloth for epoxy wetout. Does anyone know if will be ok to use the
: old cloth? or does the sizing go bad?
: thanks, Ron

Glass should be fine, the roll I'm using has to be 10 or more years old. For non-commercial use it takes a little while to use an entire 100 yard roll.
