: pictures 81 & 82 show the braces that I put on the underside of the
: hatches. They were cut to conform to and support the curve of the hatches
: so that the hatches would hold their shape. Pictures 96 & 97 show the
: blocks attached to the hull. They are directly below but offset just a bit
: from where the bungee would attach to hooks on the hatches.

Very similar to what I did on my Silver. For the bungee and hatch-tether anchors, I used some round wooden 'marbles' I found at a craft store with a pre-drilled center hole, and cut them in half. Epoxied, sealed and glassed-in, they are very unobtrusive. No hard edges!
