My King is finished and I wanted to share it with the builders that have inspired me, answered questions, and given me great ideas. Thanks so much for your postings and advice.

This is my fourth boat - second kayak, but the first boat for me. I constructed the King from redwood and WRC; basswood deck inlays; mahogany outer stems and recessed deck; walnut coaming and thigh & hip braces.
So far, I really like the King; tracks well, turns easily on a lean, and the first half of the roll is a dream (I haven't mastered the second half . Visit my website below for more photos of my build.
