Try clamping a piece across a frame and see if some standing water leaks through. Since Tyvek doesn't stretch I would guess that you would have to either sew or tape the seams. Sewing would involve an awful lot of work and create holes, so I guess you would have to experiment with tape. Let us know how it works out.
