I am taking an existing design and changing it in all sorts of ways.
I am also widening it to 24".
As i got down to making the forms wider that is when i realized i could do any of the 3 ways. In looking at an ndk explorer and seeing it appears widest about 6-7 " aft of the front of the coaming and knowing this boat is reknown for handling..it made me try to envision the center of gravity and bouyancy footprint".
