To cut a long story short, I ended up taking off all the glass, most of it came off in sheets fairly easily but there were a few patches where a I had to use the heat gun, so all in all I'm glad that I did. I have now sanded the whole deck back to bare timber although there are a few places where the timber is torn. All up it has taken me about 4 hrs in total.
Are there any good tips for filling in some of these tears. I wondered whether I could just sand these hollow & let the epoxy fill them as it may look better than trying to colour match any filler.
