I'd thought about that, being able to carry all the paddling stuff on the trailer, never have done it though, just sits in the back of the car. For more than 3 boats you'll need a second tier. When I do it, so far, I've carried the extra boats over the three the trailer carries, on the roof rack. The 2nd. tier takes more work by far than the first level and I've not yet done that.

Oh yeah, just need a box under the boats to carry gear, should have a way to lock it since you won't always have everything out of it when paddling.
