S&G: Surface mounted methods for deck lines

I am building an Arctic Hawk kit from CLC. The deck is one piece that is forced to curve to the side pieces. I really don't want to use the plastic deck holders that are supplied with the kit. Any thoughts on a method to secure the lines that does not include drilling holes and screwing fittings on the deck.
