btw i tried your strip cutting method of just using a skil saw with a nine dollar guide installed. (home depo).

It cut uniformly and quickly, it's easier to carry the skill saw back to the beginning to cut the next strip than it is to carry the whole board and mess with whatever tensioner device plus no more push stick and worry about losing my fingers or kick back spears.

Cutting strips labor/time cut in half. Thanks!
