On my last stripper, i used "normal" riser-strips and then laminated 3-4 thin strips around the cockpit. Had to do the front about 10" separately, as i couldnt get the strips to bend.

Best part is, you only have to glass the risers inside and outside, as the coaming strips are plenty strong, when they get laminated with epoxy.
