I tried to use a rudder during the TK-1 sprints without any experience using rudders. I finished dead last in both races. You never saw a paddler zig-zag so badly as he over-corrected each over-correction. I should have used the Raven for the sprints but I opted to try the rental TK-1's. I would have had a chance to medal if I had. Sigh!

Hans does indeed sell them. I got my plans for free if and only if I built the kayak and used it during the games. I would suggest you ask Hans to add at least one chine more to the hull. If he does that, then I'd like to know. I loved paddling the Raven, was just so tippy and I already have a serious left ear imbalance.
