Yes, I built a Sonnet 16 this spring. Simple build, good instructions...
I run a canvas shop & built mine from scraps. It's silly looking, but it does paddle well.

So far my longest day has been 23 miles. I stayed at the front of the pack of about 20- mostly kayak reps & experienced paddlers in high end glass boats. They were laughing at my boat when I launched. At the end of the day, most of them wanted one!

She paddles nicely, but is a bit too big for me. I'm about 140 lbs. I'll build another Sonnet with maybe an inch less beam- I get blown around a bit in wind (15 mph +). People a bit heavier than me have no issues being blown around. Resizing or adjusting to fit is very easy- just cut the stations to the size you want.

She rolls very easily. All the rolls I've tried (fwd, reverse, angel, etc) and static bracing are simple.

I have not had her out in real waves yet. The biggest have been about 2' & she handled them with ease. My other boats are just too much fun in waves :-)
