They are fairly square. Typically I just round the corners enough to not have a sharp edge. Have not read that was a bad thing. But it's easy enough to fix.

I paddled with that new and longer one yesterday and really liked the way it felt other than loom shape. I like larger loom but this was just to a bit too big. I can reshape that edges and the handles one afternoon and try that.

I have always like my first paddle I made better than any other. Even though it is butt ugly. You have me wondering if that edges were more rounded now. Got to look at that.
