: Should have a note on the plans somewhere, usually measured from the bow to
: the back edge of the cockpit. The length of the cockpit is pretty much up
: to you, but the back edge will define the seat's location more than the
: front edge of the cockpit.

Just checked the plans and there are no notes as to the the location of the seat however the plan for the cockpit cut-out appears to have the widest point of the opening just behind form 10 so I guess this is where the seat is meant to go.
