Is the boat already built? It's not all that difficult if you're building it, you just double the bulkheads, with a good sized filet around all the edges, then cut the boat between the bulkheads.

If the boat's already built it'll be a much more difficult experience, not impossible but not fun, since you'd have to add bulkheads thru the cockpit. The ends can distort alot if you try to cut them off without a bulkhead in place.
