You mean there's another kind? :-) I've had one of Gary's T2 outriggers under construction now for a little over 4 years. If I could just put my kids in suspended animation for a couple of months I might be able to actually finish it. I've got a smaller outrigger in Funafuti that my father-in-law uses and takes care of and I use whenever we go back.

That wasn't Steve Kuhrt was it? I think he was there about that time (his wife and my wife are first cousins). I used to joke that the four Tuvaluan food groups were fish, chicken, rice, and cans. We're hoping to make it back again next summer, but right now airfare is looking like $2500 each, so we're just watching jet fuel prices right now.
