One thing I have learned is when buying an old machine to restore, completeness trumps condition any day!! Give me a rough complete machine over a nice looking one missing some parts. I can clean and restore much easier to find those missing parts.

This one is missing a couple of small parts that I can substitute of fabricate. I need the lower guide. There is missing handle that while I would prefer an original I can just use a new one. I traded a 14" Delta for this one. It was literally a basket case. I spend at least an hour and probably two with the owner sorting out parts and pieces putting it together in my head before I agreed to trade. I was afraid I would start putting it together and find something important missing. It would take 2 years and a lot of luck to find a missing part on that one!

Here it is when I brought it home. Lots of pieces in the bucket.
