Thanks for the reply and advice.

My build time is sporatic like yours. I started my Spring Run in April and am just now joining the hull and deck. Somewhere along the way, I ran across a write-up suggesting the use of "spreaders" on the hull and deck to keep them from warping. I took this concept to heart and used notched strips across the hull and deck at every form location once the forms were removed. I notched the strips to hold the hull and deck width dimension as it was when they were on the forms. I notched the strips at the same angle the hull / deck would be at the shear. As the cedar can be a bit fragile, I reinforced the notches with masking tape and also taped them down to the deck and hull.

I think my hull and deck have been off the forms for about 3 months so the small amount of mismatch I'm seeing seems pretty good.
